Who is the main character?
Where is the setting of the story?
Do you like the book?
What do you like about it?
Can you use your stick puppets to retell the story to an adult?
Can you put the pictures in order? Can you tell an adult what is happening in the picture?

This week we would be looking at 2D and 3D shapes.
What is a 2D shape? it is a flat shape - square, circle, rectangle, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon. Take a look at the shape mat below.
What is a 3D shape? It is solid - cube, cuboid, cylinder, sphere, cone.
Can you find shapes in you house? eg what shape is the TV/door/table/ clock?
Can you find any 2D and 3D shapes and take a picture?
Have a go at some of the activities below.
If you have any shape activities you can do that or blocks at home can you make a picture using the blocks.
This week we will continue to learn about the damage rubbish can do if we don't put it in the bins or recycle it. Have a look at the power point below and the cards and talk to your child about what happens to the sea creatures if our rubbish is in the oceans.
can you draw a picture showing a good looking ocean and then a bad looking ocean. You can split the paper in half so show the difference.
