Remote Learning

We have a current policy that shows the various teaching methods provided across our school.

Our curriculum statement reflects our diverse community and the wide range of learning needs experienced by the pupils in our school.

Our current policy is under review due to the weekly changing needs of our school community. Our class pages will guide you through the remote leaning on offer to all our pupils. The provision consists of differentiated paper work packs, practical activities, online learning used in school, recorded lessons as well as links to nationally recognised web sites.  At every stage we have to consider the language needs of our pupils and their families to access the variety of learning that we are providing.

Our school curriculum is based on structured spoken language activities which is an integral part of the school day.

We are all increasingly aware of the barriers that many of our families may be facing during the current pandemic. Access to suitable digital technology, reliable internet connection, a quiet space to work, all of which we which we know is key to our pupils learning effectively in school.
