COVID 19 UPDATE. 17.02.2021. Our school continues to be closed to many of our pupils. During Science Week we read the story of Jasper’s Beanstalk.  The children were very interested in this story, especially the page where Jasper goes out at night time with his torch and collects the slugs and snails.

We decided we would grow some beans.  We put them in clear cups so that we could see them growing.  So far the root has grown a few centimetres.

We also made some cress caterpillars.  We put cotton wool into the egg boxes and sprinkled the cress seeds on top.  Then we watered them and waited to see what would happen.  They grew faster than the beans!

We also did some writing about what Jasper did and there is a brilliant display of our writing in Nursery.
