Thank you to all of our children, parents and families who are working with us during this difficult time of COVID 19 and school closure. Our class pages are full of great ideas for you to use at home. Please come and collect packs of paper and pencils to help you with your great work at home. We are open between 9am and 11 am each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

During Science Week we read the story of Jasper’s Beanstalk.  The children were very interested in this story, especially the page where Jasper goes out at night time with his torch and collects the slugs and snails.

We decided we would grow some beans.  We put them in clear cups so that we could see them growing.  So far the root has grown a few centimetres.

We also made some cress caterpillars.  We put cotton wool into the egg boxes and sprinkled the cress seeds on top.  Then we watered them and waited to see what would happen.  They grew faster than the beans!

We also did some writing about what Jasper did and there is a brilliant display of our writing in Nursery.
