Our class pages are full of great ideas for you to use at home. Please come and collect packs of paper and pencils to help you with your great work at home. We are open between 9am and 11 am each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

We have enjoyed using our new outdoor equipment in the sunshine today.

Its Creative Week at Bentinck School. We have been very busy.

We have done lots of painting this week and have been learning about mixing colours. Some children have painted fabulous pictures.

We enjoyed singing our favourite nursery rhymes.

We enjoyed the stories read by the lady who came from Nottingham Library. Our favourite story was 'Don't Wake Up Tiger.'

We've done some great jumping outside this week. We have loved playing in the 'Vets.' Lots of other activities too.

We have enjoyed taking photos' and 'selfies' this week.

SSSSSS I hope you like our Snake puppets.

We are learning about healthy foods. Some children helped to chop the fruit for snack time.

The children are trying hard to ride the two wheeler bikes. Some children have learned to do it - well done.

More Building

We used the large foam shapes to build with.

Last week we read The Wind Blew story and made some kites.  We really enjoyed flying them outside.

 

More busy things we have been doing this week

Creative week 20th February 2017

This week has been creative week at Bentinck School.

The whole school has looked at problem solving.  In the Nursery we have been learning about 3d shapes, their names and how to describe them.  We have had lots of fun and have even eaten 3d shaped chocolate!

We used cuboid boxes to build with.

Chinese New Year

This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year.  We had a fabulous musical parade around the hall with our dragon masks.

Christmas has come to Bentinck Nursery.

Investigation Week - 31.10.16 - 04.11.16

This week we had a Pirate Theme and went on a pirate scavenger hunt outside.  We role played a pirate story and collected treasure leaves.  We did lots of pirate themed activities inside the nursery.  We also enjoyed sweeping up the leaves outside and balancing on the logs.

This week we searched for red shapes in the shaving foam.

We had great fun this week. We read the story of Mr Tickle and played with spaghetti.
