December - Kindness Calendar

Kindness Calendar

The children and staff are taking part in the Kindness Calendar which is linked to the British Red Cross. The older children in Key Stage 2 will be recording their daily acts of kindness as a class. The younger children will be talking about their daily acts of kindness.

The whole school staff are fully involved; site manager, office staff, midday supervisors. kitchen staff.

This links really well to our Character Club curriculum where we look at 12 different character traits across the year e.g. personal responsibility, respect.

We believe it is so important for our children to understand the importance of kindness towards others and to themselves. It is also important to be able to talk about this important skill and explain the kind things that we can do for others.

Please talk to your child about kindness - what kind act have they done at school today? What kind act have they done at home for you today?

Thank you
