This week we will be looking at a story called Handa's Hen by Eileen Browne, and then we will look at how to use grammar to improve our writing.

Find the lesson you are completing below, watch the video and follow the instructions on your lesson work sheets. Try to complete as much of the tasks as you can. If you don't understand a question, try reading it again and then if you need to, move onto the next question laugh

Lesson 1: Sequencing a story

Watch the reading of Handa's Hen by Eileen Browne Below. There is also a written copy of the story in your work pack. When you have watched the video or read the story, complete the tasks on your Lesson 1 work sheet.

Lesson 2: Adjectives

Listen to or read the Handa's Hen story from lesson 1 again. Think about what country Handa might live in, what are the clues?

Lesson 3: Comprehension

Listen to or read the Handa's Hen story from Lesson 1 again. Then follow the instructions on your Lesson 3 work sheet to write your own version of Handa's story.

Lesson 4: Adjectives & Conjunctions

Follow the instructions on your Lesson 4 work sheet about the story of The Mouse, the Frog & the Little Red Hen. When you have finished the questions about the characters in the story, watch the video belo on the conjunction 'and' then complete the last task on your work sheet.

Lesson 5: Questions and Question Marks

Re-read The Mouse, the Frog and the Little Red Hen story from Lesson 4. Then watch the Questions video below. After that complete the instructions on your Lesson 5 work sheet.

Top
