Our Recycled Artwork
We were really lucky to be one of the local schools who got to work with an artist as part of her work for the Nottingham Light Night. We got to make leaves and flowers out of old plastic bags and plastic bottles. This was really fun and great for the environment. All of our leaves and flowers were then attached to our very own Bentinck arch. This will displayed with the other 19 arches in St Mary's Church in the Lace Market on Light Night - Friday 23rd February. We hope that lots of people will enjoy our work.
Making Snowmen!
As part of our Winter themed week we made snowmen to help us with our writing. We imagined them coming to life and us going on an adventure with them. Here are some photos of us with our snowmen!
Soil Science
As part of our Rocks and Soil Science topic we carried out tests looking at which soils were driest and which were wettest. We carried out fair tests and made filter paper cones to keep the soil in and let the water drain through.
Our Glittery Angels!

Healthy Eating
In Science we have been 'Personal Trainers' and learning all about healthy eating and keeping fit. We designed and made our own balanced meals in our Topic groups.
