Please feel free to email with any questions about home learning:

Friday 15th January

Hello Class 3,

I hope you've all had a nice week and that you enjoyed your lessons. Well done to those of you who returned your work packs, I have attached some dots with the next week's work pack for you to put on your dot card at home. Keep up the good work! laugh

Don't forget to return this week's work pack and pick up a new pack on Monday 18th January between 10:00-10:20AM. You can also email me to say hello or send me pictures of any activities you have been doing at home!

As an extra challenge, I wonder if you can make one of the cereal box models below. Try to follow the instructions carefully and use any other materials or recycled things you have at home to improve your models. I'd love to see some photos of the different things you make!

Keep safe, keep smiling and keep washing your hands!

Mrs Tibbitts

Good Morning Class 3!laugh

I hope you have all had a nice weekend.

Our online learning starts today. You should have collected your work packs from school this morning and handed in last week's work packs. Your work pack for this week will need to be completed and returned between 10:00-10:20 AM on Monday 18th January when you will also be able to collect a new work pack. Follow the instructions in your work packs, it will tell you where to find the online resources you need. If you have any questions- please email me!

It is important to keep your bodies fit and healthy so remember to do a little exercise each day. PE with Joe starts today and these fitness sessions are a great way to keep your body moving! You can also find lots of active workouts and dances to do at Go Noodle (it's free!). I have put links to both of these websites below.

Please make sure you do abit of reading each day, you all have new assignments on Spelling shed so keep practising these too. You should also do some Numbots or Times Table Rock Star practise each day. If you have forgotten or lost your username and passwords, you can email me and I will send them to you.

Keep safe, keep smiling and keep washing your hands!

Mrs Tibbitts

Good morning and Happy New Year Class 3!

We are back to home learning again so I will be updating the our class page regularly for you to do some learning and activities at home.

Please collect a work pack from the school playground between 10:00-10:20 AM tomorrow (Wednesday 6th January).

This should keep you busy this week while I adapt and prepare online lessons for you to start next Monday.

You will need to return this work pack on Monday 11th January at the drop off point on the playground between 10:00-10:20 AM where you will be able to collect your new work pack for the week.

I will be marking your work packs and awarding house points and special mentions on our class page for pupils working extra hard!laugh

I am sure that some of you are a little worried and upset that you can't return to school yet but remember that we did this before and we can do it again- we've got this Class 3!

Let's try our best with our work and make sure that we keep safe and stay at home.

Please email me if you have any questions or concerns (or just to say hello!):

Friday 16th September

We have been very busy this half term in Class 3.laugh

We have been settling back into the routine and lessons of school and getting to know our friends again. We have learnt about African art, designed and made African instruments as part of Black History Month, learnt about the different parts of plants and where we live in the UK.

We have been looking at a book called 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers and have written poems and letters in response to how it makes us feel. We received a letter from an alien called Bebop who wanted to know about planet Earth and where we are right now. Here are some of our replies to Bebop's letter:

We have also been learning to play the ukulele in music...

You have worked very hard this half term Class 3, enjoy a rest over half term and I will see you back at school on Monday 2nd November.

Good Afternoon Class 3!

We have now finished our first week back at school and it has been so lovely to see you all again! You have all worked hard to complete the activities in school and I hope you are enjoying the homework that I sent home with you from your bubbles this week, don't forget to bring it back next week so that I can see what you have done!

We have been thinking a lot about how it feels to be back at school. Today's bubble read 'The Colour Monster' By Anna Llenas, then did some work on the different types of feelings we might be having. We used a thesaurus to learn new words for different feelings. We also played some lego maths games, wow! Have a look at some of the photos below to see what we have been doing in Class 3 this week.

Have a nice weekend!

Love from Mrs Tibbitts

Welcome back Class 3! laugh

This week most of you will start school in small bubbles. Me and Mr Shaw have been working very hard and our new class is looking very smart and ready for you all to use next week.

Please make sure that you are at school on time at 9:15am on the day that your bubble is taking place and that your grown up wears a mask to drop you off and pick you up. You will need to come through the Alfreton Road gate and line up on the playground where I will be waiting for you! Make sure that you bring your coat and book bag, you will have a work booklet to take home to do on the days that you are at home. There are also some new activities in the star headings at the top of our class page that you can look at while you are at home.

We are very excited to have you back in school and hope that you are looking forward to it too.

See you next week!

Love from,

Mrs Tibbitts
