Class 3

Class 3 really enjoyed their visit to Twycross Zoo. They were excited to see lots of different wild animals, birds and butterflies. They were especially thrilled to see the elephants and giraffes.


Congratulations to our year 3  World Book Day story writing competition winner. Everybody is so proud of you and hope you enjoy your prize - a day out at a book shop choosing a special book of your choice.

Congratulations to the children in Class 3 who achieved their 100% attendance award for coming to school every day in the spring term. Well done !

Class 3 came to school dressed as their favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day.

Class 3 had a super visit to Creswell Crags as part of their topic work on the Stone Age. The children enjoyed exploring Stone Age caves and met a Neolithic story teller. They were archaeologists for the day and took part in an archaeological dig. They found Ice Age animal bones and saw a real Woolly Mammoth tooth!

Every Friday afternoon class 3 do a creative writing session called The Big Write which they have prepared for the day before.Take a look at what they do and see if you can spot your child working in class.

Class 3 children made their own fireworks to celebrate Bonfire Night.

As part of our topic in class 3 we have been learning about the stone age and here are some sand pictures that the children enjoyed making.
